Ragdoll

• Body
• The body is long and muscular. Neck powerful and short. The ribcage should be well developed and braod. Impression of controlled power. The hindquarters are heavier than the forequarters. The lower belly tends to fullness. In the fully grown animal the shoulders are as wide as the hips. Legs of medium length, hind legs somewhat higher. Feet large and round with tufts between the toes. The tail should be long, moderately strong at the base and tapering slightly to the tip. The paw pads are pink or correspond to the points color, depending on the pattern.
• Head
The head is of medium size, slightly wedge shaped, clearly flattened between the ears. Full cheeks, that become narrower towards a full round chin. The nose should dip slightly, it is twice as long as the width of the nose at the dip.
• Ears
• Ears are of medium size, broad to the base, set slightly forward on the head, and not too high. Ear bushes. The tips are rounded.
• Eyes
• The slightly slanted eyes are large, somewhat oval and set wide apart. The color is a strong blue.
• Coat
• The coat is medium to long. The longer coat is preferred. It should be thick, soft and silky in texture. A distinct ruff, particularly in male cats, is desireable. Colors are seal, blue, chocolate, lilac. Cinnamon and fawn are possible.
• Patterns

• Colorpoint

  • Classic points pattern without white. A belly fleck is permitted. In adult cats shading or darkening of the body color is not a fault.
• Mitted
  • Points pattern with the white pattern as shown in our diagramm (Profiles). White chin, breast and belly white, on the forepaws uniform gloves in white, on the hind legs uniform white socks to the hock. The back is a lighter shade of the points color. White marks in the points are a fault.
• Bicolor
• Color pointed cat with the white patterns as shown in Profiles (diagram). In the mask the white begins in the center of the forehead and takes the form of a regular inverted "V", which runs over the eyes, cheeks and whisker pads. The belly, breast and legs are white. The coloring on the back is a lighter shade of the points color. There may be white patches of any shape or size on the back.
