The bodily condition and balanced appearance are the most important points to be judged in the non-pedigreed cat. There must be absolutely no abnormalities.

No particular type is preferable.

In solid colored cats the coat color should be uniform and regular. With tabby patterns the colors should be distinct and well combined.

The eye color should harmonize with the coat color. The shape and size of the eyes should harmonize with the type of the head.

The condition and show preparation of the cat should be excellent.

The nature of the pet cat should be affectionate and calm.
