The body is small to medium in size and fine boned.
A fairly short and deep body, with a rounded somewhat broad chest. Compact
and well muscled. Powerful short and muscular back. Legs of a fine bone
structure, not too long, well muscled. Hind legs standing slightly higher.
Feet small, slightly rounded. Tail fairly short, thick at the base, ending
in a rounded tip.
Head
Head well proportioned, with full round cheeks and
prominent cheek bones. Pinch. Rather short nose with a slight dip at eye
level, forehead and skull somewhat flatened. Well developed chin, but not
too prominent.
Ears
Ears fairly large, broad at the base and set high.
Eyes
Eyes large, the upper line almond shaped. The lower
eye line is rounded. Set wide apart. Color luminous yellow to green.
Coat
Coat short and close lying, fine and silky, with
sparse undercoat. Upper parts uniformly ticked, belly of a brighter ground
color with clearly visible spots. Tabby pattern.
Colors in several shades from sand to gold. Ticking in black, blue, red,
cream and tortie.
