Affiliation to others

FFE has been founded 1997, registered at Nuremberg court under VR 3129 in 1997, to care and secure Cat Fancier Assocations behavior in quality of Breeds, Shows and Judges education.
FFE uses Bavarian e.V. - CFA system of shows (^TM) to allow exhibitors

European awards in traditional European judging
Each member is allowed to use international judges of best reputation.
American awards in traditional European judging
Each member is allowed only to use international judges, who are US citizens.

(Bavarian e.V. - CFA is NOT a member of CFA Inc. (USA). It´s legal member of FFE)

FFE work based on legal requirement of its members. FFE foundation member Bavarian e.V. - CFA (Germany) f.e. has full responsibility for her work.

Membership in FFE

Members only could be Associations or Federations inside a country.

No Privates nor Companies selling pets as a business are allowed to become member in FFE.

If there is more than one Association / Federation inside a country who would become member of FFE, an umbrella organization will be established under control of FFE board of directors when more than 4 assocations from this country might become members. This "new" countryside Federation will become legal member in FFE.

Charges / fees

The members of FFE will be supported on low budget base. At least the association only pay fees for show registrations, all other expenses must be paid by private member of your association for using FFE services.

This means

no annual fee payable to FFE
USD 20 for private members cattery registration in FFE
Registration in other organizations has to be done by the private members.
registration of shows, published worldwide in INTERNET
Each club must register a show and the invited judges in FFE. Registration fee USD 20 is to be paid for each exposition.

FFE could disagree into the invitation of judges (only when reputation is not ok) or cancel a show if circumstances call for such procedures.
recognized judges
Judges recognized by FFE will be listed and might have a license on request.
Judge-pupils of FFE become registered and recognized judge after examination by FFE board/panel members who are themselves international judges. Judges examinations will happen under FFE rules and are like in FIFe(ask the office for the rules).

Judges from (in alphabetical order) ACFA, ACA, CCA, CFA, CFF, TICA and other American Federations (on request) are recognized as "special marked" judges (only for American awards), if they are US citizens.
Judges from USA and Europe are recognized for European awards.

American championship awards
In FFE you might have American awards in traditional judging given by "special marked" judges.

These championship awards are

National Champion, minimum 93 points from Standard
5 times on international shows
Grand Champion, minimum 96 points from Standard
5 times on international shows, no foreign country necessary.
Master Grand Champion, minimum 98 points from Standard
5 times on international shows, no foreign country necessary.

After issuing American awards of each category, the championship must be confirmed by FFE. Fee USD 10 each championship with special certificate.
After championship has been certified the cat runs for the next competition - and the member is allowed to register this championship on pedigree.
European championships like CAC a.s.o. are not met by this regulation.

NCH, GRCH and MGRCH could be repeated up to four times. The championship is known as

Double (NCH, GRCH, MGRCH), same rules as described before
Triple (NCH, GRCH, MGRCH), same rules as described before
Quadruple (NCH, GRCH, MGRCH), same rules as described before

For Household-pets the awards are known as

Companion (HC)
Grand Companion (HGC)
Master Grand Companion (HMGC)

Pedigrees

Each club is allowed to certify pedigrees.

American championship could be registered on pedigree only after FFE has certified the championship.

Each Private of a Member has to sent the reports from registered shows, signed by the "special marked judges", to the office. The office will check the awards and prepare a certificate which will be given to the Private. To register American championship in the pedigree a copy has to be sent to the club for registration. Registration of such championship is USD 10 payable by private member of members association

FFE offers pedigree services to its members. Pedigrees will be laminated, therefore extremely secure and carry FFE logo on front and your association name on back. Print-out in English language.
Such a pedigree costs USD 10 plus mailing expenses (USD 5) into your country.
